❓Q: What is the expected outcome of the hackathon?

🎯 A: We expect you to deliver a prototype of your idea by the end of the hackathon. But we are fully aware that 48h is quite a short time ⏱️, so in case you don't manage to create a functional prototype, do not hesitate to present what you have managed to create! 📹 By the end of the hackathon, you will have to make a 3-minute video presenting what you have built.

❓Q: What will the outcome be judged on?

🏆 A: We will evaluate teams on the 4 following criteria:

  1. 🌟 Originality of the new product, process, or service
  • Uniqueness and features of product/process/service
  • Degree to which the product/process/service is disruptive
  1. 📈 Progress
  • Has the team put in extra effort and challenged themselves during the hackathon
  • How far has the team progressed with the project during the hackathon
  1. 🌍 The potential impact of the outcome
  • Is there a problem being solved by the solution
  • Is the idea viable outside of the hackathon
  1. 🎬 Demo
  • How good is the demo (how hard has the team worked)

❓Q: Is there a way to better prepare for the hackathon?

🧠 A: First and foremost – book your calendar and be ready to dedicate the time for work on your project. 🗓️ There won't be a lot of time, so make sure you use it wisely. 💡 Also, join all of the workshops to learn tips & tricks on how to better prepare for the hackathon.

❓Q: Do I need a pre-existing team?

👥 A: No, you are very welcome to join the event as an individual. During the Team Formation Workshop, you will be connected with participants who share your interests, and you will be able to join a multidisciplinary, international team!

🌐 A: Participants can join with an idea 💡 or simply bring curiosity and a willingness to collaborate 🤝. The hackathon seeks a wide range of profiles, including:
